New totem benefits (pack totem only)

• 2 points: animal communications- choose one type of animal, you and your pack can always talk to this kind of animal without a gift.

• 4 points: Minor summoning: you can summon a smaller aspect of your totem, with 3 dice for most rolls and 6 if it specializes in it. Abusing this will upset the totem.

• 8 points: Environmental affinity: choose a type of terrain like desert, open water, jungle, tundra, and even places like urban or rural. Individuals benefiting from this can exist in this environment without risk from normal environmental conditions and they can move through or over terrain without penalty. This doesn’t apply defenses to living creatures or supernatural environmental conditions. You can choose to make yourself untraceable by mundane means in your chosen environment, but supernatural powers work normally.

• Resilient: 2 points: characters benefits from this can go a number of weeks equal to their dots in survival (min 1) without sleep, rest, food and water. This doesn’t allow you to regain WP without sleeping and properly eating.

• Umbral aptitude 10 points: you are your back gain advantage in the umbra that allows them to complete umbral quests easier. The totem will grant things like wings, amour, speed, ectara, what it does and looks like is up to you and your pack but should fit the totem. You and your pack get + 3 dice bonus to challenges that in the umbra and aren’t combat.

• Desperation: 20 points: sometimes desperate times call for desperate measures. One character in your pack can activate this. With this active, you can use all your totem Benefits and use all your rage and gnosis, along with using both rage and gnosis at same time, for a number of turns equal to your gnosis (turn includes rage actions. However, at the end of it, you and your pack lose all pack benefits for a number of days equal to the number of dots in the totem, as the totem has become weaker temporarily and must recover. As well, the character will be drained from the amount of power used and will be out for number of hours equal to number of dots in the totem. They cannot regain rage, gnosis or Wp while out from this. Abusing this can make the totem angry but also weaken the totem permanently, this is for desperate moments.

• Resist corruption- 4 points - choose a triad affinity (wyrm weaver or wyld) whenever you gain taint, you can make a wp roll dc 7, if you succeed you instead don’t gain taint. If you fail you gain a taint, if you get a -1 botch, you can’t use the resist corruption for rest of the scene. If you get a -2 botch, you can’t use it for a number of days equal to your perm wp. After that will be up to the ST. You can buy this more than once for each affinity but only 1 can be active at a time, you can spend a wp and 10 minutes to change from one affinity to another if you bought this from the other affinities.

• Core values 4 points: you get a + 3 bonus to resist mental and social powers that violate your ban

• frenzy halt 6 points: if the target of your frenzy is a packmates, you may spend a wp to come out of frenzy. This doesn’t work for thralls.

• Resist frenzy 6 points: When you are with your at least half your packmates and the moon isn’t your affinity, you get a + 1 diff for frenzy rage rolls

• Reset: 10 points: once per scene for one member of the pack, they can spend a WP to reroll a non- botch roll without the diff increasing

• Totem Affinity: 14 points- totems have affinities toward certain tribes, auspices and breeds. Spending points one of them will unlock Gift affinity (below). You can over time add other affinities but those are hard and requires long and hard quest and challenges, and some affinities may not be possible ever, like a red talon totem being GW affinity,

• Gift affinity: 6 points per level per gift: your totem will grant gifts that may help you on your journey, if you have totem affinity in one more of breed, tribe, auspice, you can choose a gift from that affinity. Once per scene, one of the characters in the pack can use that gift, but must pay full cost, and a max duration equal to number of dots in gnosis, even for gifts that are perm active that only last that long. Once it has been used it can’t be used again for 2 weeks and chimage. If a character in the pack has the gift on its sheet, they can activate the gift with no cost once per scene, if there is no costs, then they can increase duration by number of whatever unit the gift used equal to your gnosis, if it has no cost and always active and you have it then this benefit doesn’t apply. Abusing out of tribe gifts can be looked down upon by those of that tribe, and abusing out of affinity gifts can still lose you renown. As well, you can’t use the gift granted by this if your rank is too low.

• Skill aptitude 4 for the initial ability and then 2 points per dot in the ability: every totem is good at certain abilities. This acts like a bank for such abilities. You can spend totem points to save up dice that you and your pack can use later, as your devotion to your totem helps you. During a scene, one of the players can take out a number of dice equal to 2 times your rank and use it, and the total for the pack will go down by that much. Note that totems won’t be good or know everything, for example, a bear totem won’t be good at computers or finances, while a cockroach totem would be. This can’t be used during rage actions or frenzying. You regain half of the max amount of points your pack has each month. You can’t use this and attribute aptitude on the same turn.

• Limelight - 10 points: once per scene for one character, if a gift targets a number of people, you can spend a gnosis and add 2 more people to those affected by the gift

• Attribute aptitude 10 for the initial attribute and then 6 points per dot in the skill: each totem is better at certain attributes than others. Similar to skill aptitude you can save for attributes as well. While in a scene, you can use a number equal to 2 times your rank on a turn. Some totems are better at things than others, a war totem may give physical but other totems may instead give social or mental. You regain a quarter of the max amount of points each month. You can’t use this and skill aptitude on the same turn.
