How did we get here?
You're asking yourself how a group of supernatural powers known for hating one another came to work together. Well the answer to that question is slowly. It didn't happen all at once. But over a period of years, and with the help of a few people that through sheer luck and maybe a bit of fate were able to break down generations and millennia of distrust.
For decades Gainesville had been held by the Camarilla, but that changed the night the Sabbat came to town. Prince Antonin Demeskin was forced to abandon his Elysium and bring as many of his kindred with him as possible in a full retreat. They sheltered from the sun at an abandoned gas station near Starke Florida.
What the vampires did not realize was that across the street from that gas station was the bawn of an Uktena sept of garou. When night came, and the vampires woke they prepared to keep moving, but the Sabbat reached them before they could escape. Barricaded inside the gas station the camarilla waited for death. And then the garou came. They tore the sabbat apart, and left. The Alpha, Walking Funny, wanted to see what he could learn about this schism between the leeches.
Two months later an envelope was found on the bawn. It contained a deed, and a letter. Antonin thanked the garou for saving them, and he had bought the land the station had been on and gifted the deed to the Garou, to increase their control of the area.
That was the first encounter of many, and soon Antonin invited the Alpha to speak. From that discussion a strange mutual respect formed between the Alpha and the Prince. And Antonin was able to leverage the relationship to take over Jacksonville as the Glasswalkers abandoned it due to the loss of Savanah.
When a group of refugees fled an island off the coast of florida and set up camp the strangeness continued. The Amenti had come to the new world, and with them offers of peace. When the sept was attacked by cultists with silver weapons the Amenti came to their aid without being asked. Slowly trust began to form.
Things came to a head with the Founding of the Starke Council
