For the scene "this is a membership, not a library card", the following characters receive 2 XP:
Damian
Eliana
ST XP goes to Joy's sponge.
Damian receives membership to the Chantry (since Eliana already has it)
This means:
Chantry 3 (Background) with the following advantages and responsibilities:
Benefits of Membership:
Library 3
Resources 1, possibly up to its maximum of 3 if the need is great enough
Node 1 (all members would get 2 quint or 1 tass per week from it, as if having an additional node 1. This cannot be increased as it is simply a share of the chantry's bigger pool)
Free Room and Board
The benefit of possibly being pulled out of bigger trouble
Responsibilities of Membership:
Defense of the Chantry when called, either socially, physically, or in any other fashion. Not being able to when called can be understood, refusal is grounds for revoking membership
Adherence to the spirit of all general mage rules and more specifically

- Respect those of Greater Knowledge
- A Tutor’s debt must be repaid
- A mage’s Word is his Honor; break not a sworn Vow
- Betray not your Cabal or Chantry
- Conspire not with the enemies of Ascension
- Protect the Sleepers; they know not what they do
- Be subtle in your Arts, lest others know you for what you are.
