The mixed chantry appeared out of two ambitions: to create further items to better increase their prevalence in the world: Charms, tomes, trinkets, and availability for bigger wonders on demand, as well as interaction with the other night folk to better understand them.
Under the influence of its current leader Joy Livingstone, the Chantry is the symbol of Mystic Mage Unity in Starke/Jacksonville. The Chantry accepts members from any Tradition, Diparate Alliance or Orphan. With the Technocratic Union's ever looming presence at the door (Gainesville), the Chantry aims at showing that the Mystics are a Force to reckon with. It is probably not a coincidence that the Union only reached out after the Chantry was established. The cooperation between the Continuum Study Chantry and the Techncratic Symposium in Gainesville remains limited and focuses around certain common enemies (Threat Null, Amkhat).

A small, 2-story building on the outside (actually 4-story counting the terrasse and basement), the Study begins with a mundane reception area which continues into a hall much too long and tall to be contained within the building. Because of the the Arcane, the building seems visible only to those who are looking for it or to those offered access or who have passed its test, which exists to determine if the one on trial can cooperate with the mages inside.
While it does not employ a horizon realm, the space inside the building is warped to offer three times the space it can hold, offering enough amenities and workshops for all practices included, as well as several nodes (present or remote) feeding it power to allow the crafting and effects required
Contains workshops for all the resident mages, living spaces, a common room, library and some other places of note.
Anyone can just walk in, should one demonstrate bad manners they will be kept away. The door to the inner chantry does not open for non members. Most mages will be away in their work places unless you set up a meeting.

Leadership

Founder

Madeline Cooper (NPC) - Society of Ether, formerly went by the title of "The Ranger" during the hunt for the Lady of Discord, and people still do call her that. Scientific Mystic who now believes in the "true" mage paradigm and is mostly concerned with the general well-being of the town. Because she didn't really like the amount of administrative work or interpersonal relationships being Leader of the Chantry implied, she took the first opportunity she had to pass on said leadership to Joyce "Joy" Livingstone.
After revealing that another member of the Chantry (Eliana) was actually her sister, both sisters decided to leave Starke together to pursue their learning of various fighting techniques. Some say they're in Asia, others that they got lost in the Umbra. Joy occasionally gets a letter brought by an owl, but it remains rare.

Leader

Joyce "Joy" Livingstone - Virtual Adept - Joy is a discreet girl, that can sometimes be hard to read but places the safety of other Mages/Sleepwalkers and Sleepers above everything else.
Being an artist, her office doubles as a drawing room, with an equivalent amount of computer parts and sketches scattered on her desk.
Joy is the spokesperson of the Mages/Sorcerers in Starke, since she was elected Awakened Throne at TheStarkeCouncil even before she became the leader of the Chantry.
She mostly handles everything that needs doing so, such as investigation of threats, interpersonal relationships, the bulk of administration as well as contact with the outside. But she does not limit herself to administrative tasks, she never hesitate to leave the Chantry to the care of its senior membe in order to go fight threat herself.

Management board

Because you can't run an organization like the Continuum Chantry on your own, the Leader is assisted by a group of skilled Mages from various Traditions:

* Edward Vanheim (NPC) - Order of Hermes, demonstrates good business sense and administrative ability, so he is in charge of the more material means of the chantry, such as the ownership of the grounds, building, other amenities and assuring a cash flow from a number of investments they are backing.

* Arthur Longcross (NPC) - Society of Ether, expert in both Matter and Prime, Artie is where the general craftsmanship of the chantry begins, as he is capable of providing generally both the energy and the container to work any wonders the others imagine. Formerly a blacksmith, now far more than that. He's also in charge of ordering raw material and the keeper of the "Wonder Lab"

* Anne Tanders (NPC) - Virtual Adepts, cypherpunk with a good handle on her tradition's modus operandi, as well as seeking information on the goings on in Starke. While not as gifted in Prime, she is there for all their Data and Entropy related needs

* Wyatt Holmes (NPC) - Society of Ether, Adventurer who prefers field work as much as the Ranger does, he is a capable sort in Forces and Time, and is the one to go out more than the others on outside operations of a technical nature

* Maximilian Trebaum (NPC) - Celestial Chorus, specialist in the creation of fetishes for their ability in Spirit and Prime, also has a good grasp on people and helps with the management of the other mages.

* Gregory Handel (NPC) - Verbena, former naturalist who can work life and mind, keeps the lowest presence in the chantry due to his preference for green places, but can work with the others fairly well. He's the Chantry Doctor.

* Emilia Clarke (NPC) - Hollow One, a bit of a downer at times, but capable in the application of Entropy and Forces as well as second to be out and about when dealing with people due to her level attitude

Members

Senior Members

Senior Members do not have any leadership or administrative function in the Chantry. They are appointed by the Chantry Leader (as described below). They are expected to be an example for the new Members, to promote a positive image of the Chantry and they can be entrusted with projects/missions on behalf of the Chantry and report to the Chantry Leader.
(Senior Members' Status is usually 3)

Dante Orso - Cult of Ecstasy (is also a member of The Starke Council)
Gabriel Montague - Euthanatos
Benjamin Stolkum - Orphan (is also a member of The Starke Council)
William Barclay - Order of Hermes
Ryan Smith - Akashic Brotherhood

Junior Members

A couple of months after their arrival in Starke, Mages are offered to take a membership trial by the Chantry Leader. If they succeed, they gain their membership along with the Benefits or Membership (listed below). They are expected to help maintain a positive image of the Chantry and they can take part in missions on behalf of the Chantry. Junior Members are encouraged to seek advice from the Leader or from Senior Members before investigating on their own since they might not know the whole context or underestimate the importance of the Veil. Since the Chantry is not a bureaucratic organization, ulike the Symposium, Junior Members may report directly to the Chantry Leader.
(Junior Members automatically gain Status 1 but can be status 2 if they were helpful on at least one big occasion)

Curent Junior Members
Richy Plata - Sorcerer
Jonathan Clark - Sorcerer
Maddy Black - Akashic Brotherhood

Mascot

Mini-Amadeus (NPC) - Golem. The 'Kind' part of the ominous archmage Amadeus Starke's soul. Amadeus thought his kindness would get in the way of his Ascension, so he split his soul, bound the kind part of it to a little golem doll, trapped it in a jar and the jar was burried under books in a Sarcophagus in TheStarkCatacombs. He was saved from by JoyLivingstone and stayed at the Chantry ever since. He retained a single power from his former self: he gains the ability to speak and understand any language further to a single contact with a person who can speak it.

Front Desk

Frederic Letherby (NPC) - Sorcerer. Commonly known and referred to as the 'front desk clerk'. He's a geek, and plays video games on his phone to help the long shifts go faster. He's slender, elegant, very discreet and polite. He provides information or directions to visitors and always shows great respect for the Leader and the Management Board. He's also very empathic and can't stand to see someone in pain. Few people actually know his name... Only one visitor ever asked him for his name since his first appareance. (Feb 29: 2 visitors now)

Services

The Chantry offers the standard services of buying and selling wonders for 120% cost on selling and 80% on buying, all in tass or other services. Tomes are available, but grimoires are not for the tass cost as well as is their grand library to those who offer a good monetary incentive. They can also provide information on situations that might need addressing in the town and near it.

Keeping on your own path of advancement while respecting and as much as possible enabling others (unless they are dicks)
