Immu Rebuild

Presented below are the retooled and balanced Immu for use with the Reborn in Shadows over the South.

The reason the Immu had a complete rebuild was because as a whole they are drastically less useful than either Hekau or Arts.

If a spell is unchanged from it's player's handbook version it will be marked as unchanged. Likewise any spell that is removed, will be marked as removed.

Alitu:

Level 1:

Bring the True Water: Unchanged

Follow the Smoke: Unchanged

Name the Fountain: Unchanged

Neutral Sent: Unchanged

Paint the Forest:
A new, second version of this spell can be purchased after the first. This second version is called 'Paint the Concrete Forest' and works identically to the original, save that it works in Urban environments.

Plants of Power: Removed, replaced with Smoke Cloud from Alchemy 1.

Smoke Cloud: As per Alchemy 1

Sarna Paste: Moved to Respiro 1. Replaced with Tezcatlipoca's Eye.

Tezcatlipoca's Eye:
Alitu 1 Spell
Lifeforce cost: 1

To use this spell the caster must have a cat's-eye agate worth at least 1 resource. The caster clenches the agate in their hand firmly and closes their eyes while speaking a prayer to Tezcatlipoca, the god of the night sky, and jaguars. Roll Charisma + Alitu diff 7. If the roll succeeds the user opens their eyes and the world is laid bare before them. Their eyes take on the appearance of a cat's eyes for the duration of the spell. Which lasts until they unclench their fist. Humans can see the strangeness of the caster's eyes so it is best to do this from concealment, or while wearing eye coverings if possible. To other supernaturals this spell is even more obvious, as they can tell when you are looking at them. The spell allows you to see the true nature of anyone in your line of sight, and can affect multiple targets or even an entire area.

1 Success:
The Caster is able to discern natural from supernatural.

2 Successes:
The Caster is able to percieve auras as per Mage 20th. This also gives them subtle hints as to the nature of some supernaturals as per Judge the Soul.

3 Successes:
The caster gains additional tidbits of information at the ST's discretion about the subject or subjects in their field of view. The more successes, the more information.

Level 2:

Fire's Blessing:
Level 2 Alitu Ritual
Lifeforce: 1 for each thing being cleansed
Using Fire and Ceremony practitioners of Alitu can cleanse corruption from an area. To perform this ritual the caster or casters must first create a boundary. This is done by lighting four small fires at each corner of the area they are cleansing. The caster then pays 1 lifeforce for each thing being cleansed, followed by making a charisma + alitu roll. The difficulty of this roll varies depending on the severity of the corruption. Only a single success is required for the ritual to function and cleans the objects, areas, and people.

Gaze at the Bowl: Unchanged

Incense Ward: Unchanged

Pitcher of Ilyapa: Unchanged

Vision Vine: Unchanged

Jaquar's Blessing:
Level 2 Alitu Spell:
Lifeforce Cost: 2
This spell functions as per the Amulet Veil of Amunet, save that it is a spell, and is focused around a cat's eye agate. Often the same agate used for Tezcatlipoca's Eye. The agate is clenched in the hand and the spell is cast, whereas it functions as per Veil of Amunet until the hand is opened.

Xiuhtecuhtli's Ire:
Level 2 Cascade Alitu Spell:
Lifeforce: 2+
This spell gives the practitioner of Alitu to command fire. The caster takes a deep breath, and points at the object or person she wishes to inflict with the ire of the fire god, speaking a prayer where she invokes his wrath. The caster then rolls Manipulation + Alitu at a difficulty of 7. The target must soak a number of health levels of aggrivated fire damage equal to the number of successes on the roll.

Call the Spirits of Fire:
Level 2 Cascade Alitu Ritual:
Lifeforce: Varies
This spell allows a practitioner of Alitu to summon a small fire elemental. The caster must first offer something that burns, such as paper, or dried corn husks, as well as an offering of a small piece of obsidian. The offerings are consumed as part of the spell, wether it succeeds or not. The caster then rolls Manipulation + Alitu at difficulty 7. Only a single success is required to summon an elemental. The caster must then negotiate it's service. This functions much as a garou summoning spirits. Chimage is payed with lifeforce instead of Gnosis, but otherwise the negotiation is the same. The Capachocha know that pulling a spirit away from it's purpose is damaging to nature in the long run, and those that abuse this ritual quickly face the wrath of their patrons and elders.

Respiro:

Level 1

Cleansing Touch
Type: Spell
Dice Pool: Medicine + Respiro
Difficulty: 7
Lifeforce: None
By merely touching an infected object or an afflicted person, the ice priest may neutralize the affliction that burns within it. This spell allows the user to cleanse the body of disease both made and natural.

Climb the Sky
Type: Spell
Dice Pool: Manipulation + Respiro
Difficulty: 7
Lifeforce: Varies
The high mountains of Tawantinsuyu are perilous for outsiders, with altitude sickness being a major problem for anyone not native to the region. This spell enables the Chaskimallki to afflict people with altitude sickness simply by snapping his fingers and pointing at them. For each success the affected's stamina is reduced by the Life force spent down to a limit of 1. The target resists this effect by rolling Stamina (difficulty 7) each turn. If he accumulates as many successes on this roll as the caster spent Lifeforce, he overcomes the spell’s effects altogether. Otherwise, the effects last until the person recovers from the sickness naturally.

Shelter of the Chosen
Type: Spell
Dice Pool: Survival + Respiro
Difficulty: 6
Lifeforce: 1
This simple incantation forms an area of temperate weather within 30 feet of the caster and protects those nearby from the harsh environs the Chaskimallki often call home. All living beings within the area of this spell’s effect are protected from the harmful influence of a single chosen bad environmental effect (Storms, fires, toxic environments etc.) and receive an additional soak die versus more directly injurious effects from the environment. The benefits of this spell last as long as the caster remains within its area. The area of temperate weather may be moved with the caster, but its duration is then reduced to a number of hours equal to the caster’s Direction rating.
