 After Joy entered his life, Michael noticeably mellowed out. He became more willing to help others with no obvious benefit to himself (to the point of taking pro bono cases for Christmas), and his concerns about the feasibility of Starke's vision remaining in place became more of a quiet fear than he preordained fate in his mind. While he was still a ruthless leader befitting of the title of 'Tyrant' and did not tolerate failure from his subordinates, he was fiercely protective of his Court, and quick to defend those under his charge so long as he could tell that they weren't the ones in the wrong. His style of leadership being identical to that of Antonin Demeskin was no accident; after all, it was Antonin himself, as part of a Major Boon, who taught Michael everything he knew about running a Court.
-Today, he has only changed in two noticeable ways: One, when he appears in the 'real' world, he acts as if he'd rather be anywhere but there, much preferring the world that Joy created, the world that has quite literally become his 'body.' And two, he's become a loving father to his and Joy's daughter, the first true Nephilim born since the war, Alice.
