Character Name: Bart Bratigon

Concept: Born on Ceres Station to Astro League parents, Bart went to the school of Belt hard knocks.

Heritage: Belter with Astro League affiliation through his parents, but independent minded.

Backstory: Bart grew up on a hydro farm with his parents; where he learned farming, but when he became a young adult he got bored with the hydro life and enlisted on a ship. Bart learned his console/gunner skills with the help of his mentor Tony 'The Deuce' Martelli. Tony was lost in a salvage accident a couple years back, but Bart continues his spacer career. Bart likes to quote shizz Tony use to say.

Personality: Kind: Bart is easy going and hard working; he likes to get the job done and is a loyal crew member as long as everything is on the up-n-up. Bart likes plants and hopes to hit it big out in the Vac so that he can start his own hydro farm and maybe have a family like his parents did. Bart has figured out that he sort of misses the hydro life, but for now he's trying to get some Doge and burn through some adrenalin.

Description: Bart is 5'7“ and is of slim build; he has dark medium length hair and sports sideburns. Bart has dark eyes and he typically has 3 day stubble on his face. Bart wears old, used flight suits most of the time and he wears a black hat with gold embroidered olive branches on the bill. The hat has a star patch on the front with the words 'UCSS NOSTROMO' embroidered on it.

Attributes:

Traits: Sutters some when a pretty woman is near him; can make him awkward in social situations at the exact wrong time.

Hooks: Enemy - Bart had a romantic relationship with a passenger once that had booked passage out to Fortuna; how was he to know she was the daughter of some Martian mucky-mucky from the Gates family…he couldn't of known she was trying to get away from all that Martian crap, but one thing is for sure…Daddy is pissed! Bart heard later they named the kid Billy…go figure vac-bro!

Flaw: PTSD - While Bart was out on a salv job his mentor and best friend Tony was crushed in an unfortunate accident. Tony was on a space walk coordinating with the pilot and due to a thrust modulator malfunction he was hit by the ship and crushed between the ship's hull and a salv hull. Space walks can make Bart nervous, especially if some weird shizz starts to go down.
