!Background and History
Character Description
Character Bio: Victoria was an introverted young girl with a passion for learning. Unfortunately, individuals like that are a target for bullying and Victoria was harassed especially heinously by her fellow high school students. The despair ate away at her life and, in a desperate effort to end her suffering, Victoria took her own life. Instead of finding peace, she found herself in the Shadowlands.
HISTORY

Victoria Sommerset was born into a loving home, something of a rarity these days. While her parents, Thomas and Nora, certainly had their arguments, there was a foundation of deep feelings that couldn't divide them. Growing up, Victoria was a quiet and curious young girl who made friends easily and was eager to help those around her however she could. Little wonder then that the local Starke library became like a second home to her where she could read and explore to her heart's content.
However, as the years went on, that second home instead became a sort of sanctuary. The innocent antics of grade school gave way to the malicious bullying and harassment of high school. Those close to Victoria could sense that she was troubled, but she did her best to smile and reassure them that everything was alright. Especially for her younger sister, Samantha, who she wanted to protect from what she was experiencing. It seemed more terrible to share her pain with others than it did to try and silently endure it.
But bottling up those feelings only allowed them to eat away at her from the inside. Her despair grew until it couldn't be ignored anymore. Victoria just wanted to be left alone, to be free from the jeers and the insults and the awful rumors. Unable to see a way out or past it, there seemed to be only one horrible solution and so Victoria took her own life. But what she thought would be the end was only the beginning.
