Crime organization that actually killed Paul right before his possession. He was investigating a supposed closed case about one of their previous killings. Wrong time to show up at their HQ.

Physical Description:
Slim, lithe and lanky. Paul stands tall and weighs next to nothing. After becoming possessed he looks even more sickly. Pallid and standoffish at first glance makes most have difficulty bonding with Paul.

Personality:
Paul doesn’t have good personal skills until recently. Always working on solving cases of mostly untalkative corpses leaves him starting too long, saying the wrong thing and otherwise cold. He is good at looking for the potential in people and helping coax it out of them even if not super smooth about it.

Backstory:
Alarim - creation role: extinction specialist. Coordinating the species wide deaths and ending - why rebel?: the pain of taking the creatures from humankind and seeing their sadness and despair made me question the purpose behind it all - legion: alabaster, working under Azreal - war duties: in the bastion city of Kâsdejâ, Alarim was in charge of teaching the humans and informing the others of the potential of the humans, individually sure but more of the potential of humankind as a whole. - Caines sin: seeing someone’s soul be taken with so much potential left was a first for the Halaku and Alarim saw firsthand the exit of that soul. It struck a deep chord within him. He strove to never let someone unrealize their potential again.

Time of atrocities: Now that murder was in the world, there was times when his resolve in the rebellion waivered. What it had become. The time of atrocities was not what he signed up for but he would find that not all fallen were willing to go to such depths of darkness to carry out the rebellion. Just because one didn’t agree with the the creator did not mean they were willing to destroy the thing they rebelled to help excel. Even if they naively sided with Micheal. It was his job to help correct them. Bring them back into the Fold. Help them see where their potential lay. - project babel: Alarim was excited to help instruct humankind. To help them fulfill their potential to help them see beyond’s their own boundaries. He wasn’t the one doing it but was what he understood the purpose to be. When the Nephilim came, their was a moment of doubt but he didn’t believe the rumors of Lucifer being behind it

Paul Davis - born: Jacksonville - family: small family with one sister. Parents are nearing retirement. No wife or kids yet - education: just graduated with a degree of some kind in forensic science - job: just landed a job with the local police force/detective agency (or something else) as a forensic examiner - susceptible possession: (I thought most possessions happened when people were dying or something,) cases got to him personally and being so attached he over worked, underslept and was going crazy over the uncaught criminals and the increasing unsolved cases and unavenged victims - why chose this host: the understanding of dealing with the dead and the sadness over unachieved potential drew Alarim to posses Paul - current state: have a lot of pent up emotions from the abyss to let loose, looking for Lucifer since he wasnt in the abyss with them and still believes him to be the rightful leader of the fallen. Still believes he is to prepare the earth for the Second World but just trying to figure out his purpose amidst all this new stuff going on -maintains host identity: Alarim tries to follow up with Paul’s job and use his identity but besides the Lores helping him solve more cases, his social skills have made it harder to work with his coworkers and his boss is already trying to put in corrective action - why Florida: born and raised here host wise, and for the fallen, this is where the host was that he connected with most when leaving the abyss

Personal goals: establish a church of worship for the fallen Find Paul’s killer Teach humans of the true and prepare them, allowing them to fulfill their potential
