Backstory:
Grew up as a trust fund baby, Jamie always had something to do. Basically, anything his parents told him to he followed as to not offset their social status of the family. He remained a calm and reserved child until his teenage years where he started rebelling with his peers. Though not enough to actually get him in trouble it seemed. So he managed to get through high school and college. Pursuing an education of linguistics as he loved learning about languages.

All his dabbling's went on fine until one night he made a bet with the wrong person and lost… money, so much money that his family would have gone bankrupt. It was very fortunate that he caught the eye of a socialite that night. One of the name Julianna. She paid the debt under one condition. The embrace. She made him kindred that night.

So, for the next 29 years he was Julianna's gopher. It was hard work running all her errands, but it had its advantages. She taught him a lot. Between how to manage his finances and actually be independent to the occult. The occult is what stood out to him though. So finally, she released him to start a shop, helping him set up the appropriate avenues for it, under a condition. There was always a condition like any true vampire. He was to give her Royalities on his profits. Well, she didn't require a lot. Jamie thinks it was more to keep tabs on him to be honest, but it kick-started his newfound passion of the occult.

A coast would be a fitting place to make his new home and shop he thought, so off to Jacksonville he went.
