Backstory

Physical Description:
The presence of any Silver Fang is a striking one, and Archibald is no exception. At 185cm tall and with broad shoulders he has the bearing of a warrior, with a defined body inked along with tattoos in traditional celtic style. His face bears strong features, strong jaw and narrow blue eyes, the only embellishments visible are the scars on his face that do little to detract from his handsomeness. On the top of his head there’s the characteristic hallmark of the Silver Fangs, the white silver hair, kept short and disheveled just a little bit.

On the day to day life he is a practical dresser, but stylish. Always with some jewlery or or accessory to highlight his outfit. He does own a number of kilts he reserves for formal affairs and a blue tattered coat bearing the crest of his family on the back, the only belonging he was afforded to keep when exiled. It was but a heirloom after all.

In his lupus and hispo form he appears as a scarred wolf with silver-gray coat, the striking and attentive blue eyes. Making a regal but rugged creature to look at.

As Crinos he towers at 3m tall, scars and tattoos visible. The perfect image of an Ahroun in his prime, the eyes seem to faintly glow with rage.

Personality:
Archibald is the type that keeps his cards open, he speaks with an unabashedly proud scottish accent. It is not that he lacks tact, he understands social cues well, he is just honest and proud of his heritage. His foul mouth can at times betray the royal bearing which he carries himself when silent. At heart he is fiercely protective of others, living by the motto than “The strong man defends himself, the strongest man defends others”. At times there’s feelings of lacking, that he can not actually protect and that he will never be a hero like his ancestors were. But he has no option but to try, it is all he know. Besides fighting, the Ahroun enjoys other forms of sports, particularly soccer and basketball which he practices as an amateur and vividly watches in his free time.

If left alone or let to introspect he tends to get caught in his own turmoil and brooding. In a while he despises the fact it is expected of him to rise to leadership. He never wanted it, and it is clear he has failed his family when Gleaming Eye came to Scotland. There’s a soft spot in his heart for celebration, good food and good music, a pretty face can easily win his attention and pull him out of the brooding. He values true friendships over favorbrooking or loyalty through heritage. And of course he has the typical fiery temperament of the full-moon, doom driven to battle.

Backstory:
There’s much blood spilled in the halls of House Austere Howl. Garou and Kinfolk of the same blood tear into each other after many members of the house revealed themselves to be tainted by the Wyrm’s coils. Archibald’s first change came at such an unfortunate time, his own sister and cousins had been corrupted, the untainted kin had been turned into unwilling sacrifices, the man saw red and struck with the rage of the Full-Moon. And before he could even recompose himself, Gleaming Eye had come like vultures. “Cleansing the bloodline”, seizing the assets into “more worthy hands”, and then giving the young cub an ultimatum. Stand his ground and be executed or be exiled and have his family assets seized. While many would want to die with honor, Archibald Drummond chose to live. Relocated to the USA, where he’d join House Wyrmfoe.

But before he knew to be Garou, before he cut down his own family and before he was driven to his knee Archibald lived in Glasgow, Scotland. Born to a nice family with ties to the Clans. A cushy life that he had never quite fit in, from childhood he was just more aggressive than other children. His parents spoke much about responsibility, proper etiquette and duty, how his ancestors were heroes, and his young mind did not pay attention. Throughout most of his life he avoided all of that, even the privileges of his family were spurned when he could avoid it. His calling was somewhere else: Battle. The heart drumming in your ears, the blood flowing hot, the pains of clashing blows. It was the only time things made sense for him. When he wasn’t causing trouble, he was training or getting into brawls. The unruly behavior made it hard for him to get into official leagues, but the talent was hard to argue against. Perhaps it is this denial of his family’s heritage that made their fate weigh so heavily on his head. He is not a hero like those that came before, he is a street punk with too much rage.

For all the grief the fall of his family caused, House Wyrmfoe was easy for him to acclimate. They felt more down to earth, individualistic. They were the ones to instruct him in the ways of the tribe. There’s a strange divisive feeling, on one hand Wyrmfoe feels natural to him, they adopted him with welcome arms, yet there’s guilt for failing Austere Howl despite never truly having been initiated in it, only hearing distant tales when he was a boy.

Coming to the Americas had a second purpose, Archilbad knew of distant family members that they had seldom kept contact with. But he knew them, he sought his cousin Jessica hoping to at least establish a line of communication, but things turned out to be much more fortuitous. She was a Garou herself, no Silver Fang of pedigree. But to him Garou allies of any kind are welcome, noble or not.

Ancestors 3: Archibald feels his ancestors, watching him. Hoping that the last survivor of their line will keep it going. They help and give advice in times of need. But they often expect that the young noble will pull his own weight.

Fate 2: Fate has a hand in this Ahroun's path, he is said to “Restore glory too his family”, whether this means restores their strength to its apex or glory through great sacrifice the Theurges could not see.

Insane Ancestor: Insanity dawns upon most Silver Fangs with enough time. Though most of his ancestors seem to have perished before their mental state could deteriorate, one had his mind fractured. In his time he was known as Bram “The-One-Eye” Drummond, a man sunk in his own paranoia and sense of self-importance. Besides being an incovenience, Bram is a constant reminder of the dagger that hangs above the head of every Silver Fang.

Camp Enmity: Gleaming Eye spared Archibald but gave him an ultimatum, abandon house Austere Howl and give up all the assets or die as a traitor. Though he surrended Gleaming Eye still keeps suspicious of any former member of Austere Howl. Not that Archibald has much love for the bastards either.

Nightmares: The night of his first change was the night his family died, slaughtered by his uncle's own hand. Even now it haunts him in his resting hours, not so literally but nightmares of his inability to protect his family.
