Several of the supernatural world powers, such as the Camarilla and the Garou Nation have recognized that the Territory of the Starke Council is something different. And allow the council members to largely play out their 'experiment' in cooperation.

One of the founding factions within the Council, Prince Daria Damos sits on the Throne of Blood. The Jacksonville Camarilla, have maintained control over their territory. Independents are tolerated if they obey the Traditions.

The fight for humanity is a central, desperate struggle against the inner Beast. It represents a vampire’s remaining morality, ties to their mortal life, and sanity, with lower scores leading to mindless frenzy and eventual character death.
