Mary has long dyed red hair that was once black. She rolls it up into a ponytail when she needs to.
Mary is also covered in pieces of jewellery with spider shapes or at least Arachnid themed. Earrings, lip piercing and even a dream catcher with the netting in the shape of a spider as a hairpiece.
Mary also has a neck tattoo in the shape of a black widow spider.
Backstory:
Mary was born on an Australian ranch where she had the unfortunate crossing with an angry redback spider. Since the bite, she’s gained a keen interest in spiders that borders on obsession. Carrying a notepad for new species of arachnid she crosses. Eventually, she made her way to Sydney college on an Animal Biology course, specialising in Arachnids and their bites and how to treat them. Her imbuing came from an Ananasi attack on her family ranch. She awoke in the middle of the night to a disturbing sound coming from the barn. She grabbed her kitchen knife and approached the barn, expecting to find a feral dingo or even a cattle rustler but not a Wyrm tainted Ananasi that was consuming one of her family cows whole. Mary sprang into action, her only ally the knowledge she held of spiders and the way they move and attack. Knowing that most spiders cannot see in the dark she turned off the lights and listened to the scuttling of the eight-legged monster. A lucky strike with her baseball bat destroyed the spider’s leg and gave Mary a perfect opening to strike it down for the count. Eventually, her family came to America after the attack. Selling off the rest of the stock in fear of the cattle’s safety. Now she works as a desk clerk at a wildlife pest control centre. Keeping an eye out for “Strange animal attacks”.
Mary also believes her Messanger is a spider, who wishes to “Expand her web of knowledge about the supernatural”
