Her face is narrow, with blue eyes and features that are too sharp to be called beautiful (people who want to compliment her appearance tend to go for ‘striking’).
Her hair is straight and dishwater blond. It is usually cut at shoulder length and habitually worn in a ponytail. Her skin is very fair (the kind of skin that makes you go through sunscreen by the truckload under the merciless Florida sun), but slightly weather-worn.

When Sarah takes her apocalyptic form, her skin and hair gains the colour and texture of fresh limestone, with a network of dark veins that seem to form a complex pattern. Her eyes turn into crystals of bluish-white anhydrite and a pair of wings made from grey dolomite rise from her shoulders. Her voice gains an echo in this form, as if she were standing in a large cave.
