Those who know him and remember him as Michael Radcliffe remember a man dressed as a Prince of Hell should; in the fashion of somebody who not only looked like he belonged in a corporate boardroom, but also owned everyone and everything else in it. From the suit that cost more most of his employees made in a month (and were often picked by his fashion designer girfriend and wife-to-be) to the palpable aura that commanded respect and attention, his sudden disappearance from L&R, Incorporated left a void in the company that could quite literally be felt, and not just in the emotional sense.

In the rare occasion he reappears, he looks as if he has not aged a day from the night of his wedding with Joy Livingstone; indeed, the way he was immaculately groomed by paid professionals while he awaited his bride looks as if it were 'locked into place,' right down to his choice of cologne that evening. It's an idealized version of himself in the way only his bride could see him on the happiest night of her life, almost too perfect to be real.

It is his visage that tells the rest of the story. Those who remember the true form of Naberius remember a regal being of pure light, an angelic being whose voice echoed with acoustics that defied the laws of physics and rang with the power and authority that a Tyrant deserves. What he is now is something literally unspeakable; a kaleidoscope of swirling illusions and colors that defy all logic and reason, as if it were the living embodiment of unreality itself, woven into being by a being who has transcended the laws of reality to become something 'other.' To say that Naberius even has a 'true form' anymore is almost oxymoronic; just when somebody thinks they have identified an actual shape in the morass of swirling illusions, it changes yet again, to a form even less identifiable than the last.

The only thing that remains constant in Naberius' visage are eye-like designs at the center of the maelstrom of unreality, as well as floating tendrils. What else there is depends entirely on the eye of the beholder; after all, if reality is an illusion, then what actually is 'real' in the true sense?

As Michael Radcliffe, Michael was a sardonic, almost sociopathic individual before he met Joy, who made no secret of the fact that he saw the vision of Starke as doomed to failure, but played along because it was directly beneficial to himself. But despite his selfishness, he proved himself to be a frighteningly effective leader, all but single-handedly carving out a place of the Fallen so endemic in Jacksonville's supernatural community that the Camarilla and the Sept of the Lonely Oak had no choice but to accept them as here to stay. 

After Joy entered his life, Michael noticeably mellowed out. He became more willing to help others with no obvious benefit to himself (to the point of taking pro bono cases for Christmas), and his concerns about the feasibility of Starke's vision remaining in place became more of a quiet fear than he preordained fate in his mind. While he was still a ruthless leader befitting of the title of 'Tyrant' and did not tolerate failure from his subordinates, he was fiercely protective of his Court, and quick to defend those under his charge so long as he could tell that they weren't the ones in the wrong. His style of leadership being identical to that of Antonin Demeskin was no accident; after all, it was Antonin himself, as part of a Major Boon, who taught Michael everything he knew about running a Court.

====== What the Mortal World Knows ======

As far as the world knows, Michael Radcliffe resigned from his position as Chief Executive Officer of L&R, Inc., to remain as Chairman of the Board and majority shareholder. He doesn't take clients anymore, and is seldom seen in public these days.

His history as a lawyer, however, is well-known, where he instantly made a name for himself after he destroyed Bradford County Assistant District Attorney Marcus Baker so thoroughly in the murder trial of Johnathan Harper that Baker was disbarred for suborning perjury, and the Department of Justice opened a corruption probe in the Starke Police Department and the Bradford County DA's Office. No lawyer ever wanted to go up against him again, and the mere presence of his name on a legal brief was enough to force opponents to settle a case. Under Radcliffe's leadership, L&R went from a large, if lesser-known law firm to a Fortune 500 company kept on retainer by the Ashukhi Corporation and Price Enterprises, two massive multinational conglomerates who now exclusively outsources their legal representation to L&R attorneys. 

In October of 2020, he married his longtime girlfriend, local artist and fashion designer Joy Livingstone. He rarely, if ever, takes cases anymore.

====== What the Supernatural Community Knows ======

Michael Radcliffe, or rather the demon that possesses him, is one of the founding members of the Starke Council and the now-former Tyrant and founder of the Jacksonville Infernal Court, the only Infernal Court in the world that openly works with other supernaturals, most notably the Continuum Study Chantry, the Amenti-run Ashukhi Corporation, the Sept of Strange Waters, and the Sept of the Lonely Oak and the Jacksonville Camarilla, with whom it shares it the city.
