Character Name: Jason 4-4-5 Aka “Jason Starborn”
Concept: The Pilot
Heritage: Jovian
Backstory: Jason 4-4-5 was born in the massive cloning vats of the Jovian Compact. He was raised around dozens of other genetically engineered humans in flagrant violation of the Hawsfelt accords. The Jovian Compact's genetic engineering is a closely guarded secret, to the point where even Jason himself does not know that he was a tube baby. He believes he was born to the drudge caste in Jovian society, when in reality he was a genetic engineering test subject that did not show the desired traits, and was therefor put into service as a drudge. Jason hated his life as a menial servant to the 'higher classes' and when opportunity arose for him to escape, and make them believe he was dead, he took it. He dove headlong into a reclamation plant, something that would normally be suicidal, but Jason knew the inner workings of the plant and aimed for a service duct, landing hard in it he spent several days crawling around unseen in the stations bowels before stowing away in the cargo hold of a container bound for Ceres colony. Fortunately for him the container was filled with food and supplies, and he managed to hide there for the two week trip to Ceres.
Since then he has shown remarkable aptitude for piloting, and Captain Brian Anvil brought him onto his ship as the designated pilot.
Personality: Jaded, and a bit depressive, Jason is still somehow at awe at many things in the world. But he knows that when something is too good to be true, it probably isn't true.

Personality: Jaded - Despite his young age his life on the Jovian moons left him jaded. Jason gains a temp point of grit whenever his negative predictions about things prove true.
Traits:
Jovian Blues: Being a product of Jovian genetic engineering, Jason has the tale tell Piercing Blue eyes with Golden flakes. Marking him to any who know them as a Jovian.
Hooks:
Red List: The Jovian's have discovered that Jason survived his dive into the Reclamation plant. And they don't like the idea of one of their cast off drudges being able to spill the beans about their treatment…
Flaw:
Trigger(4) - Jason has a lot of baggage from his time in the Compact. And that shows whenever he's confronted about it. He has to reactions to such confrontations. Instant, mindless rage, or catatonia, chosen at random.

Fool Logo Shipsuit - A combination of body suit and overclothes both in black with red trim and the Dowager's Fool logo on them. Given to each crew member upon accepting a contract to serve aboard the fool.
Fool Logo Bodysuit - Synthskin body suit with logos for the fool. The inside of the skin tight sleeves has reaction patches for various threats, and the logos discolor if exposed to radiation.
Dataslate - Ever since his escape from the Jovian moons Jason has been obsessed with technology. He has a top of the line dataslate with multiple dataplugs for it. He keeps the plugs on a lanyard and labeled. They contain charts, calculators for asteroid movement, time tables, and other various tools to aid him in piloting the ship.
Datalibrary - Jason has had a data library installed in his chest, with the key chip in his left thumb. It contains a large variety of music, movies, old terran tv shows, and a vast library of anime from the 20th and 21st centuries.
Ear Implants - Jason has had earbuds implanted in the lobes of his ears so he can listen to music anywhere. The volume controls are built into the right side of his head under the skin.
