Character Name: Bob Masterson
Concept: The Engineer
Heritage: Martian
Backstory: Born in the shadow of Olympus Mons, Robert Masterson is a martian through and through. He values independence, and his right to make his own way in the world. He came to the belt to work after his mandatory military service was over. He is a genius when it comes to reactor cores and has a knack for getting ships back into working order when damaged.
Since coming to the belts Bob has made enemies, most notably the Kerenkov family, he betrayed them when they asked him to help on a job, they didn't tell him that job included endangering women and children. He bailed and left them stranded in the black. They survived, barely, and have been hunting him ever since.
Personality: Snarky, aloof, and a big of a jokester, Bob has skills to back his mouth and more than enough grit to survive the black.

Personality: Snarky - Bob has a quick wit, and a sharp tongue. He gains 1 temporary grit when his attitude gets a rise out of people he doesn't like.
Traits:
Martian Reds: As a fifth generation martian Bob has the iconic red sclera of a native martian.
Cyborg: Bob was involved in the same battle that saw Brian maimed, save his ship didn't do as well as Brian's destroyer. Bob was in a coma for three months after, and had to have his left arm and leg replaced due to severe radiation burns. Bob managed to force the ship's reactor into scram, but at the cost of severe radiation exposure. The Martian government takes care of it's own, and got him fitted with cybernetic replacements and a neural lattice that makes the replacement arm and leg almost as good as his missing limbs.
Hooks:
Paper Clip: The Martian government wants to pull Bob back into service because of his skill and expertise.
Family Feud: The Kerenkov clan has it out for Bob. They're not fond of Brian either.
Flaw:
War Wound(5): Bob has a cybernetic arm and leg, but he was still exposed to considerable radiation. He must undergo daily treatments to help rid his system of the remaining radioactive effects of his exposure or risk cancer or worse.
