 Her parents immigrated from Bulgaria for a business venture that her dad undertook, leaving the family fairly well off financially, however she was born in the USA. Mila was always morbidly obsessed with death. Her parents noticed it from early on, whether it was her barbies dying or reading orbits when she could read.  The local sept she was part of through high school and college helped her in many ways but one of those was her rite of passage. The sept and another that were close had a yearly hunting competition. Kind of like capture the flag. She was dispatched to find out where this flag was and in doing so won the competition for the sept she was affiliated with.
