Backstory:
She has no recollection of what happened to her parents. The first memory she has is when she was adopted around 11-12 years old by Peter and Penny who treated her horribly. Peter was a drunk, Penny was a drug addict/barely there parent. She raised 5 other adopted siblings on her own. The one time when Piper was out in the everglades she met Croc/Agatha she became good friends with this woman. The woman even helped her out by teaching Piper how to hunt and fish. Piper was able to keep everyone alive by raiding stores, hunting and fishing and taking money out of her dad's wallet when he was passed out.

One day when Piper was about 17 her sister Paisley who was about 16 approached Piper with a plan to become a model so they could get more money coming in. Paisley came home battered and bloody from a photo shoot the guy did bad things. Paisley then decided to stop trying to be a model and focused on school. The court of course took some with it's investigation so it took 3 years and his judgement day came the guy was let go. Piper was restless and angry about this. She woke up in the morning the first thing she found was her clothes shredded, Then she noticed her eyes were no longer brown they were yellow. There was a news report about the man who attacked Paisley and he was found dead. They called it a wolf attack. She felt deep down inside that she had something to do with it. She talked to Croc about it and Croc came out with the fact she suspected Piper might be a werewolf. She showed Piper how they can change because she was too. She then spent the next while trying to get Piper to turn again and it didn't happen again until one of her other siblings almost got hurt in the everglades. Croc taught her what she could and took her through her trials which was ambushing a deer. Her deed name became The Ghostly One. She then sent Piper up to Starke to one of her rentals to be in a bigger pack.
