163 cm tall with wavy-straight thick, dark brown hair, pale skin, and double eyelids. Wears make-up. Her hair is cut into a long, wavy bob.

On casual occasions or when she goes to class, Jina is notable for being very fashion-conscious and aware of the latest trends in Seoul (...which tend to be 1-2 years ahead of trends elsewhere in the world) Oversized shirts, bucket hats, baggy pants, loose cropped pants, long elegant skirts and puffed sleeve blouses combined with black military boots are often the order of the day, however in the laboratory and workshop, a simple lab coat and pink, durable working coveralls are worn, with her hair tucked within a flame-retardant cap.

When it's sunny she often wears wide-brimmed sun hats to protect her skin.

===== Personality =====

Confident in her skills and abilities, Jina is driven towards her projects and goals. At times, her intensity and excitement over her own projects can come off as a little self-absorbed. Despite this, Jina is passionate in helping people, whether it be through improving their lives by technology or by filling their lives with joy and wonder...through technology.

She is a strong advocate for suicide prevention and for changing the South Korean education system to discourage the type of abuses that she and others suffered through.

Jina believes to the core of her very being that science and technology **//IS//** magic, holding the greatest magical power of all: To make the world a better place for everyone. With love, knowledge and empathy, we can shed the bitterness that keeps us on the path of Descent and achieve our own kind of Ascension.

With this raging optimism, she gets the inner strength she needs to change her reality.

**Sandara -** Jina's college roommate who is a young, Korean woman with an uncanny resemblance to a slightly older Jina and an indescribable, other-worldliness. Somewhat of a loner, when she puts her mind on something, it's difficult to dissuade. The two have a very close bond.

**Bag of Tricks -** Jina seems to be a fan of the subreddit r/EDC (Everyday Carry), her pockets are filled with useful tools and she carries a rucksack replete with handy stuff for the college student and the enterprising mechanical engineer.

What Jina loves more than dalgona coffee and rainy afternoons spent in cozy cafés, is flight. Hang gliders, ultralight aircraft, sailplanes, Jina would love nothing more than to soar high into the sky and travel hundreds of miles in the air.
