===== Backstory =====

**Physical Description:**\\
Panal Medina is a fairly short individual, AFAB, at a height well below 5',  of mixed heritage, which gives her rather light skin for someone of her culture, with warm brown eyes. 
She is deceptively strong and fairly durable, often tanned from days of beekeeping or heavy workout. 
She dresses appropriately for the situation, whether in traditional dress, outdoorsy clothing or as a Mayan warrior in full battle.
She is often followed by a smokey smell as if of burned incense and skin, which she explains as a quirk of her profession.

**Backstory:**\\
As a child Panal was bullied on the account of her family being not that well off... and a few other reasons, with caused her to be rather shy in later years. Despite that she reminisces it rather nicely partially because later years were harder, partially because she enjoyed her family life. Her parents possessed a small honey business and sold produce at a local farmer's market. 
During her teenage years, she was split between helping out with the business after her uncle passed away so she barely had time for school, which she didn't like anyway as teenagers are much more vicious with how they treat others... there also appeared problem of her being much shorter than her peers. She had a lot of unresolved feelings that kept bubbling up and causing problems with her behaviour. 
In between her teenage years and being a young adult Penal went heavily into sports destressing herself with weight lifting and climbing.
As an adult she took over the family business and for some time all was well, she gained some confidence and her sports hobbies paid off giving her quite a bit of muscle mass... still not making her look bulky because of her naturally petite build and frame. Somewhere along those times she also started doing some outdoors stuff spending weekends in forests. 
This is also when impending doom finally caught up to her. A heart disease caused by years of stress and overworking herself took her life.
After that, they joined as one being. She and a noble from a Mayan empire that once resided over wast apiaries and supplied sacred honey to the King and for the glory of his god.
of course that came with its own caveat of protecting [ward flaw].
Now not being able to bare living surrounded by their family after changing so much, they left with just some of their belongings and set course for Starke.
