 +====== Paths ======
 +Thaumaturgical Paths define the types of magic a vampire can perform. The first path a character learns is considered her primary path and increases automatically as the character advances in the Discipline itself.\\
 +Secondary paths may be learned once the character has acquired two or more dots in her primary path, and they must be raised separately with experience points.\\
 +A character’s rating in her primary path must always be at least one dot higher than any of her secondary paths until she has mastered her primary path.\\
 +All Tremere Characters start with The Path of Blood.
 +
 +===== Using Powers =====
 +Each time the character invokes one of the powers of a Thaumaturgical path; \\
 +* The player must spend a blood point\\
 +* Make a Willpower roll, difficulty equal to the power’s level +3.\\
 +Only one success is required to invoke a path’s effect — path levels, not successes, govern the power of blood magic.\\
 +Failure on this roll indicates that the magic fails.\\
 +A botch causes some kind of loss or catastrophic backfire, such as losing a Willpower point (or dot!), spontaneous combustion, or accidentally letting a living statue run rampant. Thaumaturgy is an unforgiving art.
 +
 +(See Secondary Path information below)

 ====== Rituals ====== ====== Rituals ======
 +At the first level of Thaumaturgy, the vampire automatically gains a single Level One ritual. To learn further rituals, the thaumaturge must find someone to teach him, or learn the ritual from a scroll, tome, or other archive. Learning a new ritual can take anywhere from a few nights (Level One ritual) to months or years (Level Five ritual). Some mystics have studied individual rituals for decades, or even centuries.
 +Unless stated otherwise, a ritual requires five minutes per level to cast.

-Rituals will be learned using these steps and are for ALL blood sorcery (Thaumaturgy, Necromancy, Dur-An-Ki, eetc):

-  * Firstly, you must Have the appropriate Discipline at the appropriate level to learn a ritual at its rating level.+

-  * Rituals are free to be taught IC from the appropriate teacher or by researching and learning on your own IC twice a month. After that it will cost XP in the amount of 2*the ritual rating. Roles are required either way.+Cost: Rituals are free to be taught IC from the appropriate teacher or by researching and learning on your own IC twice a month. After that it will cost XP in the amount of 2*the ritual rating.

-**There are two ways that the ritual can be learned:** +There are two options for learning Ritual;
-  * If your character is in good standing with the clan that teaches it (ex. a loyal Tremere or Giovanni), then they may simply request to have the ritual taught to them and after the lesson may move on to the Mastery rolls. +
-  * If they are unable to gain approval, or would prefer to simply research it on their own then the following rules apply for researching it. They must make an extended Intelligence + Investigation roll with difficult of ritual's level +3. The number of successes required is equal to the ritual's level x3. The roll can be made once every number of days equal to the rating of the ritual. So for example, with level 3 ritual you could roll for it once every three days.+

-  * After they have finished learning of the ritual by either method, they must then master it. This will require an extended roll of Intelligence + Occult with a difficulty of the ritual's level +3. The number of successes needed is equal to the ritual's level x3. The roll can be made once every number of days equal to the rating of the ritual, same as during the research phase.+1.  +Dice pool modifiers
 +  * Learned the ritual via your Mentor - add your Mentor rating to the dice pool.
 +  * Research background - add your rating to the dice pool.

-Your mentor rating can be added to the number of dice available for your roll.\\+\\

 **Note** Diablorizing a vampire with these disciplines do not grant the Kindred automatic access to the rituals. you will still need learn the rituals this way and that is IF you get a mentor for the Discipline. **Note** Diablorizing a vampire with these disciplines do not grant the Kindred automatic access to the rituals. you will still need learn the rituals this way and that is IF you get a mentor for the Discipline.
