+This rite purifies a person, place, or object, allowing it to be used without fear of wyrm-taint.  The most common form of this rite involves the ritemaster inscribing a circle on the earth, walking counterclockwise around the afflicted while holding a smoldering branch or torch.
+Fergus' Gurahl version of the rite of cleansing is different.  While the Gurahl still inscribe a circle he does not need smoke or flame.  Instead he uses a medicine pouch and a small censure filled with a mixture of wood ash and bone powder.  When purifying a person he will use the censure to dispense this powder which he smears on the afflicted's face while chanting.  To purify an object he uses the censure while walking around the circle the object is in, and when purifying an object he will walk throughout the area using the censure and chanting.  This ritual is ended with a chuffing sound and if he is in any form other than his homid form he will roar.

+This rite binds a spirit to the user, making it a servant.  The more powerful the difficult, the more difficult the process.  Gurahl only bind spirits when absolutely needed.

+First the user spends a number of gnosis points with a minimum of one.  Each point spent reduces the gnosis of the spirit by one.  Then the player must roll willpower at a diff equal to the spirits adjusted gnosis.  The number of success indicates how long the spirit may be forced into service with each success binding it for one week.  In the case of a talen the spirit is bound until use.
