Abstract

Synopsis: Rumors of starke and jacksonville being hotbeds of supernatural activity attract the attention of vampire stalking hunters
named the "Hand of Dawn". Their sense of community, belief in their purpose and personal conviction make up for their lack of
skill and experience.

Operation Shattered Scar is an attempt at eliminating several known vampires in their homes and in the streets. It will involve scouting,
home invasions, traps and other methods to try and destroy the elements of kindred society they have become aware of.

Hand of Dawn:
 A mixture of paramilitary, street, and religious hunters migrating south from other cities.
Threat level should be significant, without being overpowering. Their strength lies in their numbers and conviction, with some members
posessing basic equipment while other cells are better off.

Scenes


Scene 1: Home invasion (Repeatable)
The arc will kick off with a volunteer being attacked in the sanctity of their home roughly 15-20 minutes before their daysleep takes them.
They will need to eliminate several threats and safely secure themselves in a dark place before the mission timer finishes.
The hand of dawn is not the primary threat, the clock is. Players will eliminate the threat before narrative time and if finishing "close" to
dawn, may take damage shy of lethal.

Scene 2: The Trap
Various traps similar to the above, at different times of night.
List of potential traps include but not limited to:
"Sniped" by a car crash (Driver skids at last second, delivers some damage but otherwise leaves kindred alive. Possible fight.)
Dead drop ambush (Black market, illicit or other form of trade used as opportunity to strike)
Failed car bomb (Ignition of gas tank, primary explosive failure)
Ghoul taken prisoner (A call to fight them at a location of their choosing.)
Sacrificial Lambs (2-3 members put in danger so more can strike from the rear)
Etc.

The above should all cause injury or otherwise stress the *potential* of death without actively reaching that point. The Hand of dawn is amateur, but given
time may learn and become a much more significant threat.

Scene 3: Court In Order.
 After several Kindred (PC or NPC) have been attacked in their homes the prince calls a meeting of all available kindred to address the threat.

Scene 4: The plan
The Kindred ambush the hand of dawn to gather intel from prisoners.

Scene 5: Strike
The kindred attack a location important to the dawn, in order to push them out of the city. (For now.)
