Physical Description:
Short, frail, and weak. Adile, or Kana as her Fae self is known, is a very small person in all physical respects. Her hair is blonde in mortal seeming, and stark white in fae seeming.

Personality:
A kind, soft spoken, caring, and introspective person. Kana always things long and hard on situations before making a move, she is not quick to act.

Backstory:
The golden sun was rising gently over the horizon, pushing away the darkness and cold of night, bringing with it light and heat. Kana stood on a balcony looking out, watching the day break. It had been a long night, one filled with long discussions, food, and drink. The party life didn’t suit her, but when her hold called upon her for diplomatic duties she would fulfill the requirements dutifully. The sun offered welcome respite at the end of the long hours of meeting. Kana, a Qareen, was one of the freehold’s diplomats. One of the most experienced as well. She was even training junior diplomats in how to approach situations in ways that would not only result in their safety, but would bring prosperity for the freehold. Going in pairs or groups, this was one of the most important lessons, but she was ignoring it this time, she had gone alone. Darkness began to fall again, and it was then she knew she had fucked up. In her drink some poison had been slipped. The light was fading, the sensation in her body was fading. . . And soon the life escaped her.

The year is two thousand and two AD. A child is born to a beaming couple who had recently immigrated to the United States due to political unrest in their home lands, the Taliban was threatening to destroy their homes and lives - along with many other homes and lives. Melodi and Ibriham, the mother and father, didn’t make the decision lightly but when their freehold fell, and it was revealed that Melodi was pregnant, they decided a safer life needed to be provided for the unborn child. Settling in the new lands was fairly easy, they fortunately had fair enough skin that they weren’t harassed for being foreign - and having learned english as part of their studies at home they were able to speak with only a faint accent that made them sound interesting rather than scary. They were also able to find a friendly freehold that was willing to host the kinain. These changes brought the stability and safety that were needed for raising a young child. The signs of Adile, their child, being kithain began to manifest from early on.

Kana had been enjoying various lives through various mortals over the past few centuries. Almost always holding a position of some importance in the freeholds, but never being the leader on her own. She found her way to Adile, and was getting ready to begin another new life.

During her high school years Adile began to undergo her chrysalis. Her parents made contact with some kithain who were willing to teach her the ways of the changeling, help her understand what was happening, and how to use her arts. Possessing a remarkably strong remembrance, Kana was able to recall many of the events from her past lives - and with her innate abilities as a Qareen she was able to vividly recall the details of many of these events. Along with her remembrance she was also able to call upon many arts that would have been considered more advanced than someone of her apparent age would have been able to use. She also inherited a treasure which was passed down through the generations of her family, a flask that when filled would be able to heal injuries both physical and chimerical. Though the girl received much training and had a family which was able to understand her and the new views she possessed, life was still difficult in the large city where they lived. It was after graduating high school that the family moved to Starke, a community where they heard being such as they could live in a relative amount of peace and be able to make new connections with many others.
