featest:garouform

Please be as precise as possible. If the sheet doesn't have a section for something you deem important, include it in the extra notes section. You will have edit permissions to the sheet after submission and after approval. You can format the sheet after acceptance as you wish so long as it is easy for the STs to work with as well.

Note: The Asterisk (*) means the field is required.

Guide

Materials Allowed
  • Werewolf the Apocalypse 20th Anniversary Corebook
  • Any of the 20th Anniversary WtA books
  • Players Guide to Garou
  • Tribe Books (at ST Discretion)
  • Revised Books (at ST Discretion)
  • Any other: Please talk to the ST(s) about it.
BANNED Materials

Werewolf Creation Steps!
1) Think of a Character Concept.
  • This should include Breed, Auspice and Tribe.
2) Contact the Storytellers in charge of Werewolf the Apocalypse.
  • You can use DMs or Tickets.
  • Discuss your concept with them to ensure that your character will fit into the setting smoothly.
3) Archetypes: Nature & Demeanor
  • Pick a Nature as well as a Demeanor.
  • Copy the descriptions and paste into the form.
4) Attributes: 7 / 5 / 3
5) Abilities: 13 / 9 / 5
  • No Ability can be higher than 3.
6) Specialties
  • You get 1 (one) free specialty at the 1st dot of these abilities only.
    • Crafts
    • Performance
    • Academics
    • Science

  • You get 1 (one) free specialty at the 4th dot of the attribute/ability after freebie points.
7) Lore
  • Lores are part of the Knowledge tree. Please keep this in mind.
  • You get 1 free dot in a Lore relating to your splat, in this case: Shapeshifter.
  • If you are playing a Theurge, it is a good idea to get Lore: Spirits as well.
  • Though not necessary, you might think about investing in your Tribal Lore.
8) Resource Stats
  • Willpower
    • The starting number of your WP is dependent on your tribe. Please refer to the WtA 20th Corebook, Page 113.
    • We DO recommend spending a couple of freebie points in increasing your WP above average. Though keep in mind that 7 WP and above will require intensive justification.

  • Rage
    • Your rage is dependent on your Auspice. Refer to the WtA 20th Corebook, Page 112.
    • Rage is what allows you, a Garou, to be the Warrior that Gaia needs. Think of it like super-adrenaline.
    • You may increase your rage with freebie points, but we don't recommend doing so.

  • Gnosis
    • Gnosis is dependent on your breed. Refer to the WtA 20th Corebook, Page 112.
    • Gnosis is your spiritual connection and ability. This is what allows Garou to get in touch with the Umbra and the Spirits. This is like your mana pool.
    • You may increase your Gnosis with freebie points but be aware that increasing by even 1 (one) point above the initial starting rate for your breed will require MASSIVE justification. Gnosis is a currency. It is meant to be rare and hard to acquire.

  • Harano
    • This rating denotes how mentally damaged your character is. It is NOT depression. It is more like hopelessness and a loss of will to keep going.
    • We don't recommend starting with a Harano dot. If you insist, please prove to us that you are willing to roleplay on extreme mode.

  • Renown [ Glory, Honor, Wisdom ]
    • Part of the Ranking system found in the WtA 20th Corebook, Pages 142 and 245.
    • Please refer to Page 112 to get your beginning Renown.
9) Gifts
  • You get 3 Gifts by default. These are chosen according to your Breed, Auspice and Tribe.
  • Refer to the WtA 20th Corebook, Page 112.
  • You can pick 1 (one) from each category. They must be Level 1.
10) Rites
  • Optional.
  • You can only have Rites at Character Creation if you have the Rites background.
  • The level of Rites you can learn is limited by your dots in the Rituals ability.
  • Refer to the WtA 20th Corebook, Page 202.
11) Backgrounds: 5 points
  • Refer to the WtA 20th Corebook, Page 135 for available Backgrounds.
  • We have several Homebrewed Backgrounds available as well.
12) Special Maneuvers
  • Optional.
  • As listed in the WtA 20th Corebook, Page 299, each Garou character is allowed to choose ONE maneuver from the list as their special move for combat.
13) Merits: 7 points max
  • Optional
  • You may take Merits from other splats, as long as they make sense for a Garou to have.
  • Please confirm choices with your ST(s).
14) Flaws: 7 points max
  • Optional
  • You may take Flaws from other splats, as long as they make sense for a Garou to have.
  • Please confirm choices with your ST(s).
  • Each Flaw taken gives you additional freebie points equal to the rate of the Flaw.
    • Example:
15) Freebie Points: 15 points
  • Freebie Points allow you to customize your character's stats even further. Think of them as starting bonuses.
  • Listing out your Freebie Spends may help the ST(s) approve your sheet faster.
  • Please refer to this table to raise your stats with your 15 points.

Your Goals For Your Character
ST Hooks
  • Think about 3 story hooks for your character that will help the ST(s) figure out how to include you in plots/scenes.
  • You can think of them like OOC ambitions/aspirations/projects.
  • These hooks could also help with character development in game.
  • Personal plotlines could happen as well.
Goals
  • This is mostly for you, but will also help the ST(s) get an idea of where you are at in your vision for your character.
  • Basically, what do YOU want to do or see happen to your character?
  • Feel free to be as descriptive as you like, or not.
  • Preferably in bullet point form for readability.

About You As A Player
These are optional. Please do not feel pressured to answer them. However, if you do, you would be giving your ST the means to give you the best and most fun experience in the game as they would be able to give you what you are looking for, find out what your expectations are and avoid what you do not want to see in plots. You would also allow the STs of the game to know whether you need more help with lore/mechanics or if you got it. ;)
