[[setting:demon_rituals|Back]] ====== List of Rituals ====== The following list provides instructions about how to adapt the published rituals to the new ruleset **(WIP)**. __**Baptism of Faith**__ (DPG page 190) \\ **Type:** Ritual of Exaltation (Rank 3) \\ **Lore:** Lore of the Celestials \\ **Advanced Aspect:** Duration \\ **Range:** Touch \\ **Notes:** None \\ __**Create Elemental**__ (DPG page 189, 193)\\ **Type:** Ritual of Creation (Rank 5)\\ **Lore:** Lore of Awakening, Lore of Radiance, Lore of Storms (Water Elemental), Lore of Flame (Fire Elemental)\\ **Advanced Aspect:** Duration\\ **Range:** Touch\\ **Notes:** The elemental starts with one dot in every attribute and Willpower, each level of magnitude beyond the first gives an additional point to be allocated by the ankida. The elemental exists until it is slain or the duration of the ritual expires.\\ (Each type of elemental requires a separate ritual to create.)\\ __**Defeat Scry**__ (DPG page 191)\\ **Type:** Ritual of Protection (Rank 2)\\ **Lore:** Lore of the Celestials, Lore of the Firmament\\ **Advanced Aspect:** Duration\\ **Range:** Touch\\ **Notes:** The protected area is centered around the sigil, but its size is determined by the scale of the ritual. Subtract a number of successes equal to the magnitude of the ritual to all attempts to scry on the protected area or the people and objects inside, no matter the method.\\ **Variation:** To make the area appear empty, add Lore of Light to the ritual.\\ __**Faith of Steel**__ (DPG page 192)\\ **Type:** Ritual of Protection (Rank 2)\\ **Lores:** Lore of Radiance, Lore of Awakening\\ **Advanced Aspect:** Scale (Number of Subjects)\\ **Range:** Line of Sight\\ **Note:** The recipients can deduct the magnitude of the ritual from their wound penalties, and can keep acting when incapacitated for an equal number of rounds.\\ __**Fiery Vision**__ (DPG page 188)\\ **Type:** Ritual of Exaltation (Rank 3)\\ **Lores:** Lore of Radiance, Lore of Light\\ **Advanced Aspect:** Scale (Number of Subjects)\\ **Range:** Line of Sight\\ **Note:** The number of people this ritual can affect at the same time is restricted by its scale. The number of additional Willpower points the subjects gain is equal to the ritual’s magnitude.\\ __**Firestorm**__ (DPG page 191)\\ **Type:** Ritual of Creation (Rank 5)\\ **Lores:** Lore of Flames\\ **Advanced Aspect:** Scale (Number of Subjects)\\ **Range:** Line of Sight\\ **Notes:** The effect is instantaneous and has no duration. The amount of lethal damage inflicted is equal to the ritual’s magnitude.\\ __**Hadrisel’s Libation**__ (DPG page 187)\\ **Type:** Ritual of Patterning (Rank 4)\\ **Lores:** Lore of Storms, Lore of Awakening\\ **Advanced Aspect:** Duration\\ **Range:** Touch\\ **Notes:** The libation heals one level of aggravated or lethal damage, or all levels of bashing damage per dose. The number of doses created is equal to the ritual’s magnitude.\\ __**Hope’s True Flame**__ (DPG page 193)\\ **Type:** Ritual of Protection (Rank 2)\\ **Lores:** Lore of Radiance, Lore of Flame\\ **Advanced Aspect:** Duration\\ **Notes:** The scale of the ritual needs to be big enough to encompass the protected building (volume). The number of dice lost to attempts to harm the occupants of the dwelling is equal to the ritual’s magnitude.\\ __**Part the Waters**__ (DPG page 189)\\ **Type:** Ritual of Domination (Rank 2)\\ **Lores:** Lore of Paths, Lore of Storms\\ **Advanced Aspect:** Scale (Area)\\ **Range:** Line of Sight\\ **Notes:** The area of river or lake bed that is cleared of water is determined by the ritual’s scale. The duration is determined a per the rules.\\ **Variation:** The listed variation has the same costs.\\ __**Resist Fire**__ (DPG page 191)\\ **Type:** Ritual of Protection (Rank 2)\\ **Lores:** Lore of Flame\\ **Advanced Aspect:** Duration\\ **Range:** Touch\\ **Notes:** For the duration of the ritual the subjects are immune to damage from natural fires (but not from the inhalation of smoke), and may use their Stamina to soak fire damage from supernatural sources (like the Lore of Flame).\\ **Variation:** Altering the ritual so that fire damage heals instead requires adding the Lore of Awakening to the Ritual. This also turns it into a Ritual of Exaltation, with all usual consequences.\\ __**River of Blood**__ (DPG page 190)\\ **Type:** Ritual of Patterning (Rank 4)\\ **Lores:** Lore of the Storm, Lore of Flesh\\ **Advanced Aspect:** Scale (Volume)\\ **Range:** Line of Sight\\ **Note:** The ritual affects a volume of river water determined by scale. New water flowing into the designated volume is also transformed into blood, until the duration of the ritual expires.\\ __**Siren’s Song**__ (DPG page 188)\\ **Type:** Ritual of Domination (Rank 2)\\ **Lores:** Lore of Longing, Lore of Radiance\\ **Advanced Aspect:** Scale (Area)\\ **Range:** Line of Sight\\ **Notes:** Instead of ongoing rolls, the duration of the ritual’s effect is calculated as per the rules.\\ __**Storm’s Fury**__ (DPG 189)\\ **Type:** Ritual of Domination (Rank 2)\\ **Lores:** Lore of Storms, Lore of Humanity\\ **Advanced Aspect:** Scale (Area)\\ **Range:** Line of Sight\\ **Notes:** The malus to dice pools suffered by people inside the area is equal to the magnitude of the ritual. The duration is calculated as per the rules.\\ **Variation:** In order to focus the ritual on a person who’s name the ankida knows add Lore of the Firmament to the ritual. The usual rules for sympathetic connections apply.\\
