**Character Name:** Zur Makin\\ **Concept:** Healer of the Suffering \\ **Race:** Human \\ **Patron:** Destru \\ **Backstory:** Zur comes from the southern continent where the great desert of Tharcama dominates the center of the land mass with the surrounding costal regions being quite verdant and lush. Although large cities dot the coasts and dominate commerce, one cannot discredit the Tharcama Nomads and their various tribes. Zur was born in the city of Tridu to a physician father and an apothecary mother. Zur grew up learning the healing arts and when he was a young teen the city was struck by the Purple Death. Destru heard of the suffering of his creations and when he came to see what was going on he was surprised by a blinding light of hope that was emanating from a young man. Destru saw that the Purple Death was something other-worldly and he decided to bless Zur with a mote of Will to help him conquer the plague. Destru worked with Zur and the plague was staunched, but Zur's parents were lost in the battle.
