Her skin is quite warmly tanned, reflecting her mixed Indian-Black ethnicity and she has a warm smile which now comes naturally to her. **Personality:**\\ She is no longer as irritable and sad as she used to be. Her older spunk holds up though, and she's not afraid of showing it, but without the bitterness she used to have. **Backstory:**\\ Niya is a receptionist at the local homeless shelter. She has spent all her life trying to get her creative juices flowing into something big, but nothing made a difference. She couldn't help but find everything around her too rigid and meaningless, and her own job in a rather grey environment left her quickly feeling unmoved by poverty and made her sometimes act downright crass to visitors. She didn't cling to life too much, but even depressed as she was, she was not yet ready to end it all when a particularly argumentative methhead beat her to second death in a drug induced rage. Her tem-akh was an architect of some renown in the lower Nile valley, who lost one of his legs in an accident when a stone block fell on him, long before his glory days, which led him to particularly value durability in his constructions. He developed a fear of accidents and Niya's condition of death keeps his ka very wary. The third life has filled in Niya's sense of meaninglessness a direction she has never known, and she now plans to refurbish the drab homeless shelter and perhaps even look into what made her killer a methhead in the first place.
