Born in Miami, he felt that he didn't belong there, not being accepted as an American by many people but knowing little of his latin american roots, he got begrudgingly used to be treated generically as a Latino or "Mexican". His father died at a young age, and his mother had little time to spend with him while working multiple jobs to get by. Barely completed school,after finishing started right away to work as a taxi driver and then as an Uber driver. When the apps took over transport, he got great ratings because clients liked how polite and quiet he was, but Guillermo struggled to create meaningful connections, strong friendships, or romantic partners, except for Patricia, a young Dominican that was his loving girlfriend for seven years until she was deported because a petty coworker sicced immigration on her to keep her from getting the promotion she wanted for herself. After a couple of years in a long-distance relationship, things cooled off, and they remained strangers, speaking occasionally. That made Guillermo feel really isolated, longing for a community, a family, a place to belong or being acknowledged for being something else than a timid driver. He started chain-smoking anxiously, neglecting his health until he died of smoking related lung cancer. Only his mother was with him through his chemotherapy, and only she and some acquaintances of her attended his funeral. Loneliness and a feeling of unfulfilment were the bane of his life. He died longing for meaning and a place to belong. When he died, more relieved to end the pain than anything, a strong, radiant presence manifested before him; The ka of Pahu, An ancient priest and guardian of a now lost temple of Taweret, that merged with his own soul and provided him with the confidence, sense of purpose, and enjoyment of life that he deeply lacked in his second life.Now gifted with a third life, armed with newfound powers, knowledge, strengths and above all, a completely new outlook on life, Gillermo wants to be a guardian of the downtrodden; to create a place for those who felt like he did before his second death, where they can belong, share, love, grow, and thrive, as his way to bring balance to Maát, being a protector of those in poverty, alienated or rejected. As a driver, Guille became a great observer and listener, so he has an acute awareness, a knack for investigation and research, a great knowledge of the streets and who is who and who does what to whom, and a strong sense of empathy.
